Thanks for this while series, it helped me through a very stressful time, taking care of my dad.

Caretaking is difficult. Good on you for caring for your dad. Glad the show helped you get through that, Matt!
Elden from Washington
All I really can say is thank you for this story. It was so much of what I needed to hear at the right time. I am excited to see what comes next.
Admin Reply by: The Attendant
Thanks so much, Elden. I'm so glad the show found you at the right time!
Maddie from The Universe Somewhere
This podcast has really changed my life. It helped me at times I really needed it, and made me laugh so hard. Nonny is my favorite character. She's so sweet, and funny, but she knows how to say no, which is a thing I'm still struggling to learn. I appreciate all the hard work you do to do all of the voices and write such beautiful stories. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. From a fellow writer, hoping to make something that helps people like you.

Thank you so much, Maddie! I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I love when people find Nonny as a positive role model when it comes to setting boundaries because it's a skillset almost none of us are born with, and one that I get the feeling she learned through her own challenges. She's my creation but also my inspiration at times. Now get out there and write something that's going to change somebody's world!

I live in the High Desert and Iโ€™m pretty sure Iโ€™ve seen that Gas Station. Maybe one day Iโ€™ll stop in and have a chat with whoeverโ€ฆ. whatever is there. Thanks for a great show!
Admin Reply by: The Attendant
You absolutely should stop in. You never know who you might meet and what you might encounter. Gas stations are pretty darn magic
Ember from Baltimore
You are in my top 3 of podcasts, this is great. Iโ€™m re listening to it for a uhhh second or third time, and got my mom to listen to it. Amazing.

That's so awesome! You've relistened more than me! (I...hate relistening. Not cause I don't like the show but because it makes me cringe lol). That's awesome that you converted your mom to a Skylarkian. She's lucky to have you. Keep burnin' bright, Ember!
Ceph from Idaho Falls
I love this podcast! Listening to the adventures of Mac, Tendy, and friends makes my job so much more enjoyable. (I wash dishes). Corson is high-key my favorite character, and such a vibe. I'll play a game of Settlers of Corson(?) with him any day. Thank the Prime Mover I stumbled upon Desert Skies.

Hi, Ceph! Thanks for your patience while I dealt with life for a while. Dishwashing. I've done it. It is the most therapeutic underthanked job in the world, and so important. As a former chef I can't tell you the difference a good dishwasher makes. If you want something fun to read, I recommend "Dishwasher: One Man's Quest to Wash Dishes in All Fifty States". It's fascinating. And I love that you love Corson. I love him too! Can't say I appreciate games as much as he does, but I appreciate how much he appreciates them
Sarah from Sarasota, not a joke. Itโ€™s in Florida
I discovered your podcast when you did a guest appearance on Tower 4. I became immediately obsessed. Thank you for handling hard topics with such care and grace while still adding humor to it. My children called their grandmother Nani and it brings me so much joy to see how your Nani is such a force of love.
Admin Reply by: The Attendant
This is so cool. Glad Tower 4 pointed you my way. And that's adorable about the kids and their grandmother. I called mine Nanny (which I got from Muppet Babies as a small child), and that was part of what inspired it! Sorry for the late response!
Caroline from New York City, New York
Hi! I've absolutely fallen in love with Desert Skies and I just wanted to say thank you so much for making such a funny, emotional and all around incredible podcast. It always finds me when i need it, no matter what i need is. What you do is incredible, so please don't stop (unless if you need a break then stop when necessary) <3
Admin Reply by: The Attendant
Caroline! Sorry for the late reply I really appreciate the kind words and I'm glad to be back from an unplanned break. Can't wait to get out to NYC for another live show someday!
Wolfgang from Adelaide South Australia
I have been listening to desert skies back when the first season was released. I found it quickly became one of my favourites. I loved the cosmology and its wacky weirdness. Always keeping you on your toes. After a while, I decided to show it to my daughter. I had shown her a few podcasts before and she never really seemed to retain anything or follow what was occuring. That is to say before she listened to desert skies. After a few nights she started quoting the show and recalling events that even i had forgotten. There is something truely special about this audio fiction. The characters feel so real and engauging. Listening to the show makes it feel like you have been dropped into a living universe than a story. The show breaks the mold along with your heart.

So sorry for not responding sooner to this sooner, Wolfgang (slowly working my way through a lot of guestbook signings). Obviously, you and I have gotten to know each other a bit since you shared this and I'm thrilled to know how much the show has meant to your daughter.

I didnโ€™t know I could enjoy a podcast some much, it brings me so much joy and I canโ€™t wait to hear what will happen nexts.i love how you are able to talk about dark topics and still manage to end on a happy note. All this to say you have inspired me in my own journey of writing and donโ€™t ever stop doing what you love and donโ€™t forget to take your own advice!!! Ps. Just an idea could there be and astral plane of mushrooms and dragons like mushrooms as tall as trees and dragons of different size and you were able to stop by and have tea with them or something there could also be a a sphere mover dragon named Shroomie (the mushrooms are just for looking and admiring only nothing else)❤

I am SO glad to hear that the show has inspired your writing! And the idea for your Sphere sounds super fun. Not sure if you ever write fan fiction but that would be a cool one to read!
Lisa from Canada
Hey Tendy! Enjoying the podcast, saved the โ€œTake Care of Yourselfโ€ bonus episode because I was having horrible sleep but it helped so thank you and Mac for that episode because it really helped me fall asleep. Anyways this podcast has been such a joy to listen to especially when I need something to listen to. So thanks guys and tell C.A.S.H I say hi! Sincerely, a Canadian who also writes stories.

Just heard you have a guestbook from the first episode of Season 3 and I HAD to add my own contribution. Desert Skies is such a cozy podcast with incredibly charming characters and it still amazes me that it is all done by a single person. I tend to be very picky with a lot of the longform media I consume (if I'm going to be with it for a long time then I might as well really enjoy it!) and Desert Skies has definitely captivated me from the beginning. Looking forward to this season! Much love from Portugal!

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to come to the site and add your contribution. This is truly kind and encouraging. Much love back from the U.S.

hi! i have been speedrunning through podcasts for about 3 years now, but there are (relatively) very few which have become comfort shows for me. Malevolent, the penumbra podcast, the magnus archives, mayfair watchers society, bunker 8, tanis, midnight burger and desert skies are the ones i always relisten to and obsess over. i am incredibly picky about podcasts and the way they tell their stories. desert skies is in my top 3 favourite podcasts of all time. i am so appreciative of all your hard work and i love your way of story telling. it scratches a part of my brain that always seems to be itchy haha keep doing what youโ€™re doing, much love from YORKSHIRE AYYYYY BIG UP YORKSHIRE

Desert Skies is my favorite weird little world! I laugh and cry and love every episode. I wish I could know the characters in real life because I can relate to everyone of them. I love yโ€™all. Thank you for sharing your story with the world, it is a better place because of it! Donโ€™t stop. Thank you!

Oh, dang! That's such a kind comment and I love how much you love the world I love. Thank YOU!

I just wanted to say thank you for this. Desert Skies has become one of my favorite podcasts alongside Midnight Burger and Welcome to Nightvale. It's been cathartic. I lost my Dad last year and it's been really soothing to imagine him as a traveler. So thank you for what you do.
Admin Reply by: The Attendant
Thank you so much, Samantha. I'm thankful to hear about the cathartic experience the show has been and I'm so sorry about the loss of your dad. I hope DS continues to help the more we explore the Astral Plane as we travel it more. Appreciate your comment
