Desert Skies is Returning!
3 CommentsIf you haven’t already heard the news, Desert Skies is returning on October 6th. I could not be more excited! Early listens to the premiere have been so overwhelmingly positive (I have the kindest fans in the world) and I think you’re going to love it!
What should you do while you wait?
Here’s a few ideas
1. Give Desert Skies another listen
What could enhance your Season 3 experience more than reacquainting yourself with the story? Get all those little plot points, all the deets, fall back in love with the characters. By the time you’re done, you’re gonna be pumped for Season 3.
2. Join Club 86
If you’ve never joined Club 86, you’re missing out on all kinds of great stuff. Plus, the Season 3 premiere is there and available to listen to right now!
At the lowest tier alone you get all episodes of Desert Skies early and ad-free (and let’s be honest, who wants to hear a car insurance commercial in the middle of a good cry session?). If you really want to get into the weeds of it all, you also get access to Season 1 and 2 commentaries and some other cool stuff.
Join at the second tier (Traveler) and you’re going to get enough bonus episodes to have more than a full season’s worth of listening time. That’s access to the six-part Game Night series starring Corson, Tendy, Mac and a host of new characters. This one’s a little weirder and heavy on the comedy. And you’ll also get access to the just released series The Grief Train which spans events that occur between the second a third season. It’s very heartfelt and emotional. Plus, it’s the first time I made all the music myself. In addition to those mini-series, you’ll hear The Infamous Episode 2, the one that didn’t make it onto the show and would have greatly changed the direction of everything.
3. Give some other shows a listen!
There’s a few different shows I’ve listened/am listening to. They’re not all fiction, but they’re all entertaining.
This show is made by my dear friend, Waymon Alexander. Great for fans of Stephen King. It’s the story of a wanderer in a strange land, and his journey to get back to his family.
This one is weird in the most wonderful of ways. With an all star cast and an intriguing plot, this sci-fi comedy is a blast every step of the way.
This one’s non-fiction, and for a podcast anthology of terrifying tales is oddly perfect for listening to as you drift off to sleep. Nightmares guaranteed. Listen to the soothing voice of Will, as he reads spooky stories of the paranormal sent to him by listeners.
And that’s it!
I can’t wait for you to join me again on the Astral Plane. Adventure awaits. Until Oct 6th, safe travels.
