I am in love with this story, when I listen, I feel like I’m actually in the world of Desert Skies. Every character feels new, and different. I learn new things about them every time I listen. This podcast is heartwarming and also sad. Sometimes I learn lessons about who I am, but also the people around me. Life is hard and scary sometimes but, Desert Skies is not just a podcast, it’s more than that. It is a place to rest your soul and visit a place where you are safe, with people who are all so different from one another. It feels like a new group of friends and I’m along for the ride. In every episode, the story unfolds and wraps around me. Even if you’re washing dishes or driving to work. It’s a captivating story that goes so much deeper. The attendant has so many layers and feels like someone I can relate to. The mechanic is a friend that will have your back no matter the obstacle. CASH is so much more, and so much stronger than she knows. Corson is so strong but so sad and that makes him beautiful…a beautiful bitch. Nani was such a great addition to the team. She’s so loving and complex and I cannot wait to understand more about her. The list goes on and on about how amazing this podcast is but honestly it’s one of my favorite things. I could listen over and over again and find something else to love. Thank you for creating a world that feels magical and safe to rest for a while.
