I work in a nursing home kitchen and I spend most of my mornings listening to this podcast as I’m getting breakfast and lunch ready. It is such a comfort of a show that confronts death head on. When working in a place where people die often, it’s kinda nice to think of the Attendant, Mac and Shirley to greet them. Even if the podcast is fiction, it’s still a comfort. Thank you.

As someone who has worked for an assisted care facility myself, I know it can be hard being face to face with death so much of the time. I'm glad to know DS provides comfort to you as you serve some of the most vulnerable among us. Such important work. And I'm sure they'll have a lot to talk with Shirley about.
